An ingenious device for stopping wasps, hornets or robber bees entering your hives. It comes complete with 2 D clips and 2 wood screws for fixing it to your existing entrance block. The Vespa Guardian can be used on wooden and polystyrene hives.
In normal operation both D clips are removed giving your bees space to enter and exit but giving the guard bees a narrow entrance to defend and fight off wasps and bees.
If you want to close up the entrance due to moving hives, crop spraying or very heavy predation, simply pop in one or both D clips. The D clips can be adjusted to allow the bees to exit if required.
The Vespa Guardian can be left on over winter as it also stops mice from entering the hive
